What to Bring

Please bring your own swimwear, a towel, and water if you’ll want a drink. Bringing a short list of your current medications can also be helpful for us when planning your sessions. You’ll be asked to shower before getting into the pool. We ask that you avoid applying oils or creams just before your session, as these can affect the water. Jewellery can be worn at your own risk.

How Your Session Works

A typical session lasts around 30 minutes. If this is your first visit, you’ll be asked to complete a short form before getting into the pool and have a relaxed chat with a staff member about what you’d like to get out of your sessions. General sessions include a gentle warm‑up and guided movements working towards the goals we set together in that initial discussion.

1–1 Sessions in the Pool

In standard sessions, there can be up to two clients in the pool at the same time, each receiving 1–1 support from our staff team. We also offer premium sessions, which are exclusive 1–1 appointments with only one person in the pool at a time, for those who prefer more privacy or individual space.

When You Arrive

Please try to arrive 5–10 minutes before your session time. Come in through the initial entrance door, then knock on the internal door and wait until you’re invited into the pool area. This helps us protect the privacy of anyone currently having a session.

Parking

Parking is free at Dene Barton Community Hospital. There are two car parks, and it’s usually best to use the second car park, as this is closest to the pool.
